DMCI Homes gears up for second sem 2010

MANILA, Philippines - For urban-dwellers seeking homes within the city, condo living has become the preference.  Almost every corner is already cramped with residences, offices, commercial spots, institutions, parks, and other man-made structures, so development has no way to go but up.

While living in a vertical village has become the norm, the growing number of medium-rise and high-rise condominium developers presents the market with small spaces, poorly-planned projects, and limited choices to live life to the fullest.

At the forefront of providing end-users with innovative community solutions that allow families to forge relationships within their community is DMCI Homes.  Taking their target market's sensibilities into consideration, DMCI Homes has created the medium-density condominium concept to fulfill the needs of the middle-income market segment.

As today's leading builder/developer, DMCI Homes is focusing on providing clients a wealth of community amenities that addresses the condo dweller's active lifestyle needs in both work and play. Among others, advantages extend to a lock-up-and-go lifestyle, an efficient property management team, plus the exclusivity and security that residents will not find in other types of housing developments.

Ask thousands of residents now dwelling in over 10,000 turned-over units of DMCI Homes' projects and responses are deemed to be mostly positive.  Alfredo R. Austria, DMCI Homes president, notes that a big part of the company's business comes from referrals of friends and relatives of DMCI homeowners.  There are also a lot of "repeat" buyers who wish to upgrade to a new development or those who are buying units for their children and extended families.

Word of mouth is indeed one effective method of establishing an esteemed reputation, and this, DMCI Homes has achieved in just 10 years of operations.  Within this decade of unprecedented growth, the company has crafted highly-successful communities such as: Raya Gardens in Merville, Parañaque; Rosewood Pointe in Acacia Estates, Taguig City; Tivoli Garden Residences near the Makati CBD, and Magnolia Place in Tandang Sora Ave. Extension in Quezon City.

To celebrate its 10th year, DMCI Homes launched three more projects in the first quarter of 2010: Cedar Crest, a medium-rise residential development in Taguig City; The Redwoods - a neo-Asian inspired residential village in Fairview, Quezon City; and the Iris Tower at the Tivoli Garden Residences - the only high-rise garden community in Mandaluyong City.

Not resting on its laurels, DMCI Homes proceeds with the launch of more developments in 2010.  By the second half of the year, it will be unveiling new projects dubbed as the "Big 6": La Verti Residences - a twin high-rise tower located behind the Manila Adventist Hospital along Donada St. in Taft Ave., Pasay; Flair Towers - a two-tower high-rise along Reliance corner Pines St. near EDSA; Sienna Park Residences - a medium-rise development in West Service Road, Bicutan, Parañaque City; a medium-rise development in Visayas Ave., QC; and another medium-rise property in Muntinlupa that will be set on a sprawling 3 hectare property.

Austria said that the company attributes its growing portfolio of projects to the DMCI Group's core competence which is construction.  Backed by more than 50 years' track record in the industry, DMCI Homes is able to deliver quality-crafted communities right on time or even ahead of schedule, so that the waiting time for home buyers is shorter.  They can even move in right away after settling the downpayment.
