SM Development Corp. (SMDC), the listed middle-income developer controlled by retail tycoon Henry Sy, is seeing strong demand for its residential condominium project in Pasay City. In a statement on Monday, SMDC said it already launched the four other towers of Sea Residences with construction in "full swing".

"The topping off of Phase 1 of the Sea Residences once again heralds SMDC's firm commitment to the on-time completion and delivery of our various residential projects. That commitment, together with our business philosophy and brand identity, allows us to actively pursue our corporate vision, which is to be a leading developer of world-class residences in the Philippines," SMDC president Rogelio Cabuñag said in a statement.

Phase 1 involves Towers A and B out of a total of six 15-story towers of the project. It is located right in front of the SM Mall of Asia, one of the country's largest malls.

The total cost of the Phase 1 of the project is estimated at P2.2 billion and it is projected to be fully completed late this year.

Sea Residences
was launched in late 2009. It features a modern tropical design and amenities such as four grand lobbies, function rooms, five swimming pools and a commercial strip.

Mesa; Lindenwood Residences, a residential subdivision in Muntinlupa City; Berkeley Residences in Katipunan Road, Quezon City; Grass Residences, which is beside SM City North Edsa; Field Residences at the back of SM City Sucat in Parañaque City.
