MANILA, Philippines - Major property developer DMCI Homes recently launched The Redwoods, its newest project in Quezon City which is designed to give residents in the areas of Caloocan, Novaliches, Fairview and Bulacan a new alternative to quality living.

Known as a quality developer in the middle market segment, DMCI attracted more than 300 prospective buyers who were gladly assisted by DMCI Homes' sales force in their inquiries.

DMCI Homes officials led by its chairman Isidro A. Consunji, DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria; Gerry Ancheta, head of engineering; Florante C. Ofrecio, director for sales; and project director, Alma Florendo, preceded the opening of The Redwoods to the public.

The Redwoods will have five mid-rise buildings, namely, Chi, Mizu, Kaze, Kaji, and Sora with a total of 506 units located in a two hectare lot. Chi will be finished in March 2011 while the four other buildings will be done in the same year.

Aside from the basic amenities such as lap pool, kiddie pool, playgrounds and gazebos, The Redwoods will also have a covered badminton court, a first among the condominiums in the area.

Cherrie Lyn Cruz, marketing manager of DMCI Homes, said that most of The Redwoods buyers are looking for "upgrades" in their current living environment. "This time, the buyers want to experience subdivision living which has quality, serenity and security."

Furthermore, project director Alma Florendo said that the response of the buyers has been warm because they believe The Redwoods will change the landscape in the Fairview area. "With its Neo-Asian architecture, The Redwoods will be a pleasant landmark right in the busy area of Fairview."

"The accessibility of The Redwoods is an advantage to the prospective owners. For people who want to experience nature, La Mesa Eco Park is only a few minutes' drive. Indeed, this is an ideal place for people who want to live in Quezon City," Florendo added.

Also, the completion of the future MRT-7 will make The Redwoods more attractive to new buyers as they will be given greater mobility around the metropolis.

DMCI Homes is the country's premier triple. A builder-developer that brings serviced, themed communities within reach of urban families who once had limited residential options, but still aspire to achieve a comfortable, enriching quality of life proximate to their place of work.
